| The First United Methodist Church of Glendale, CA is seeking candidates to consider for the position of Handbell Director beginning Sept. 2009. The handbell ministry consists of two adult handbell choirs, each with approximately 10 ringers. Rehearsals are currently held Monday evenings from 6-9 p.m. Handbells play in the church twice per month, one Sunday for each group, as well as for special occasions such as the late Christmas Eve service and the annual concert in the spring. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (Menlo Park) is seeking a handbell director to begin in January 2010. The Trinity Ringers are an intergenerational group that rehearses every Wednesday evening and plays in church once per calendar month. (dates are already set Jan.- June), plus some out-reach activities and festivals. The church owns 5 octs. of Malmark Handbells and 4 octs. of Malmark handchimes.
