

Opportunities for Ringers
The Bells of Neighborhood at Neighborhood Church in Pasadena, California are looking for two experienced ringers, one for bass bells and another for mid-range bells. They play Level 3 and 4 music once per month at services and on special occasions using four octaves of bells and chimes. They rehearse Monday evenings beginning at 8 pm. The handbell choirs of First United Methodist Church of Glendale, California are looking for a few ringers to fill their ranks. Both groups ring on five octaves of handbells and rehearse on Monday evenings (6-7:30 p.m. for the Carillons and 7:30-9 p.m. for the Wesleyans). St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Granada Hills, California is looking for some ringers. They meet on Thursday evenings from 6-7:15 p.m. This is a four-octave choir that has been around for about 20 years, so they play medium to difficult music. The church has an exceptional music program for its size. Bells usually plan for the 9 am Sunday service about once a month, plus for special occasions.
