Shirley Werner, Regional Coordinator
Hello, Central California ringers!
If you haven't met me, my name is Shirley Werner, and September begins my sixth year as your Central California Regional Coordinator. My husband and I have been married for 53 years, have three children and four grandchildren, and we live in Paso Robles, California.
I have been a bell director and ringer at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paso Robles for the past five years, and I was formerly the handbell director at Hope Lutheran Church in Atascadero, California for about ten years.
I have had the fortunate pleasure to be your Regional Coordinator for the central California valley area. Learning the behind the scenes of how your Area XII Board functions and makes our handbell events happen has really been an eye opener. I've learned so much and my only regret is that I wish I would have learned about handbells at a much earlier age of life.
But I'm certainly enjoying it now, and I hope to help bring that same joy to ringers throughout the central valley area. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions or need assistance.
