Howdy!
I have been the Nevada/Eastern Sierra Regional Coordinator for Area XII since April 1993. I have been a public school music teacher in the Reno/Sparks area for 28 years. For the last 22 years I have taught at Alice Maxwell School, where I developed a bell program that includes six bell groups ranging in age from nine years old to a community group comprised of college students and "middle-aged women."
I started ringing bells at church in 1984, and I now ring with the quintet, BelCanto. When not teaching, directing or ringing, I like to play flute/piccolo and ride horses (though not at the same time) with my husband, Dave, and our dog, Cheri (although the dog doesn't actually ride the horse).
I look forward to continuing to serve the state of Nevada and the eastern portion of Area XII as your Regional Coordinator. Please don't hesitate to contact me for any reason.
