Hello Southern California ringers!
Since last year, I have been your Southern California Regional Coordinator, and I have enjoyed helping to organize handbell events in the southern part of the state.
I have been ringing handbells for more than 20 years. While I directed for 13 of those years, I am now loving the experience of ringing again. My other two passions are my grandchildren (ask me to tell stories about them any time!) and quilting. My two greatest ringing experiences have been the creation of a family handbell choir at our family reunion, and a recent class at National Seminar with Arnold Sherman.
My goal as Regional Coordinator is to encourage ringers to take advantage of opportunities to grow outside of ringing with their own choir. It's so exciting to discover the possibilities handbells can provide! I hope to see you at future events in the Southern California area and beyond.
